We encourage community groups to use the Center for Community Organizing for events, benefits, workshops, etc. In addition to the spaces listed below, the Center includes a stage and large open area. Our events policy is available on the web or in print.
The following groups and projects operate out of here:
The Inside Books Project (IBP): We are an all-volunteer organization that provides free books and literature to Texas' incarcerated population. There are more than 150,000 people imprisoned in Texas. We receive 600 letters each month from people seeking books and work hard to send books to each of them- please help! Our work nights are Thur. 6-10 pm and Sun. 7-midnight at the Rhizome Collective.

zineLibr

The Austin Zine Library/Info Shop: this project provides zine-lovers and other curious folks a place where they can come and read underground literature they might not be able to find anywhere else.
Kids' Space: This area's new strawbale walls are done being plastered. Please contact us if you are interested in putting energy and ideas toward this goal.
